Currency
Halsand Sel
Sel can be spent in Halsand, Durand, Droquia and Isilia.
Halsand Sel originates from Duran Vosa. Originally using a more basic currency, Halsand saw an economic revolution after Duran Vosa became the major economic powerhouse in the country. The name was in honor of the queen in Durand at the time, Selbaha Sel Neha. The Droquit, having unofficially integrated into the empire as refugees, slowly adopted this currency too.
5 Sel can be exchanged for 1 Isilian Silver. On Isilia, you can also exchange them at a rate of 1 Sel for 3 Royal Seals.

Isilian Silvers
Isilian Silvers can be spent on Isilia, and within the Halsand Empire as well.
Isilia happened to sit on a bounty of silver. Over time, the Isilian Silver became the standard currency across the island region. Originally a mostly blank coin, as merely the metal seemed necessary, the coin started seeing engravings after trade with the Halsand Empire started. While Isilians are reluctant to accept Sel, Halsand citizens have less of a problem trading with Isilian Silvers.
Carrying more value than other currencies, an Isilian Silver can be exchanged for 5 Sel, or 15 Royal Seals.

Othenian Royal Seals
Othenian Royal Seals can be spent in Othenia and to a degree in Isilia as well.
Othenia had a different development. In olden days the Othenian Nobles procured items and arranged work based on their standing within the kingdom. Their letters were what held power; an Othenian noble vouching for your cause almost always ensured you would get the support you needed. Over time a coin came into use, dubbed “Royal Seals” as a reminder to how things used to be done.
15 Othenian Royal Seals can be exchanged for 1 Isilian Silver. On Isilia, you can also exchange 3 Royal Seals for 1 Sel.
