Scroad

Large, three-legged creatures with scaled bodies and a patch of fur on their backs.

Feared by locals due to its aggression; often seen as a pest when it attacks settlements near forests.

Size: About 2 metres tall as adults.
Aggressiveness: Aggressive, territorial, and prone to attacking intruders.
Rituals/Behaviour: Lay eggs in damp locations; young hatch in two weeks and feed on insects until they can hunt small creatures. They reach adulthood in one year. Adults dominate their environment and gather only for mating.
Defence: Uses its toothless mouth to crush and swallow prey whole. Sharp kicks and clawed scrapes serve as additional attacks.
Diet: Carnivorous; consumes forest animals.
Habitat: Forests in central and eastern Halsand.
Societal Structure: Solitary.
